Canopy Humidifier 2.0: Is It Worth It for Dry Winter Air?

North Dakota winter doesn’t play a fair game. As soon as the heater comes on, suddenly my skin is dry. My throat complains, especially at night. Oh, and let’s not talk about my nose. It feels like I have an invisible cucumber inside each nostril.
Hand lotion or face moisturizer? They belong to a parallel universe, not to the dry air of a North Dakota winter. Useless.
Why Dry Winter Air Becomes So Uncomfortable
Technically, the heater keeps you from becoming a decorative ice sculpture. The problem is that it warms the air that is already dry. Without added moisture, the humidity drops, to a point that the body notices before the thermostat does.
What Makes the Canopy Humidifier 2.0 Different
The Canopy Humidifier 2.0 uses a filter to absorb the water and a fan to release it into the room through evaporation. You won’t see the mist, and most importantly, there won’t be a damp cloud landing on the nightstand.
The Canopy Humidifier 2.0 was designed by someone who has tried to clean a humidifier before and decided to help. The tank has a wide opening, the grill comes off, and the parts that touch water can go into the dishwasher.
Canopy also uses UV light and something called Smart Persistent Airflow, which allows the machine to detect water inside, and the fan continues running until the unit dries out. It is not mold-proof, and even though it still needs cleaning, at least it doesn’t leave all the job to us.
The Canopy also includes white noise, adjustable red and white lights, and aroma diffusion.

What Canopy Humidifier Can Do for Dry Skin and Restless Nights
Instead of letting your heater dry you out all night, the Canopy Humidifier restores moisture to the air while you sleep. This gives your skin a better chance to hold on to its natural moisture, and gives your expensive face cream a chance to do its job work before the heater dries everything out again.
By adding moisture, the Canopy 2.0 helps soothe dryness in your nose and throat. No more stars under your sheets when turning around, or a shocking electric sensation. It also comes with built-in white noise that softens sounds around you that usually wake you up.

Canopy Humidifier vs. a Traditional Cool-Mist Humidifier
A traditional humidifier and the Canopy put humidity back into the area. Basically, they both do the job, but in different ways. A traditional humidifier releases a beautiful mist into the air that looks nice, but it goes straight to the furniture and surrounding areas. That creates white marks and not-so-healthy wet areas. On the other hand, Canopy uses a fan to release the moisture. The room gets the humidity but without damp areas, white marks, or your nightstand getting wet.
