My favorite season of the year is here. I can smell it, and I can feel it in my bones. Soon, autumn colors will be everywhere around us, and our outfits will have to change from rebellious summer to gorgeous autumn. If you haven’t decided on your fall outfits yet, I have a Quince and Sézane surprise for you.
I love Quince for many reasons, and one of them is that Quince means quality at a very reasonable price. Sézane is french-inspired pieces with distinctive details and higher prices.
I decided to give you a little help and show you these adorable Quince and Sézane capsule wardrobe featuring some of the best clothing and accessories these brands offer.

What Is a Capsule Wardrobe?
Most of us know what a capsule wardrobe is. But for those who are new to the concept, a capsule wardrobe is a collection of staples that allows you to create unlimited outfits with only a few pieces. A capsule wardrobe allows you to easily mix and match each item while creating your own personal style.
When you invest in versatile pieces, you won’t need to replace your entire wardrobe every season. Quince and Sézane offer high-quality pieces to wear them for years.
The Quince Fall Capsule Wardrobe
The Quince fall capsule includes clothes you can wear everywhere you go. It has plenty to create lots of outfit. Colors complement one another without turning your closet into an ocean in black and beige. Each set takes you from errands to lunch or travel.
Can You Mix Quince and Sézane Pieces?
Absolutely. In fact, that’s what I do. Even though I’d love to, I can’t spend my entire budget at Sézane. Instead, I’d choose one beautiful Sézane jacket, sweater, or bag and wear it with the more affordable basics from Quince.
A Sézane jacket can make a simple Quince sweater look more expensive than it is. Together, they make a fall wardrobe truly special without asking me to survive on crackers for the rest of the month.

How Many Pieces Do You Need for a Fall Capsule Wardrobe?
Honestly, as many as you need. I don’t believe in standing in front of the closet counting clothes just because someone on the internet decided that a capsule wardrobe should have exactly 27 pieces.
A few tops, two or three bottoms, a couple of sweaters, and one or two jackets can give you plenty of outfits. Add shoes and bags you already own, and there you have a fall capsule wardrobe.
Purchase only the pieces that are truly missing, such as a beautiful Sézane jacket, a Quince sweater, or a pair of pants that goes with almost everything.
The Sézane Fall Capsule Wardrobe
The Sézane capsule wardrobe has the pieces I would buy when I want something more than a basic sweater or another pair of trousers. The jackets have beautiful details, the sweaters come in amazing colors, and even the simplest blouse has something that makes you look special.

Which Collection Is Right for You: Quince or Sézane?
This year, Quince gives us good-quality clothes at affordable prices. You could build an entire fall wardrobe there and still have money left for groceries. The clothes are comfortable, look polished, and work for everyday life. Yay!
Sézane is another story. It isn’t cheap, and it doesn’t pretend to be. You’re paying for the fabric, the craftsmanship, and all those little details that make anyone stop and look you twice.
These are the clothes you keep for years. Fall may end, but you won’t suddenly stop reaching for that gorgeous jacket or sweater, and yes, you’ll look stunning wearing a Sezane outfit.
Which one belongs in your closet? I’ll let you decide.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Quince or Sézane Better Quality?
Honestly, it depends on the piece. Quince has beautiful basics for less money. Sézane is more expensive, but keep in mind that you’re paying for the design and those little details that make you stop scrolling and say Wow!
Is Sézane Worth the Higher Price?
For an entire wardrobe? If you can afford it, of course! Not for me, though. I would spend more on one Sézane jacket or sweater that makes everything else look better. Hopefully, one day—not too far from now—I’ll be able to spend my entire clothing budget at Sézane. A woman can dream.
Can You Build a Fall Capsule Wardrobe on a Budget?
Of course. Look inside your closet first. Put a few outfits together, figure out what is missing, and get only that. You probably need far less than you think.
Do All the Pieces Need to Be Neutral?
No, unless you love living in beige. Neutrals are easy to combine, but a little color makes the wardrobe really yours. I love warm fall shades that can still work with several outfits.
How Often Should You Update a Capsule Wardrobe?
I check mine when the weather changes, and in North Dakota, that means about three times a year: winter outfits, summer outfits, and fall outfits. We have no spring. Well, some people may say we do, but nah!
I keep what still fits and looks good, remove what I never wear, and replace only the missing pieces. I’m not rebuilding my closet every season. Who has the energy for that?
