Everlane and Quince fall 2026 sweaters shown side by side: a relaxed cream ribbed sweater layered over a white shirt on the left, and a fitted gray crewneck sweater with white pants on the right.

I love to look for clothes I can wear in different ways. If I buy a sweater, I wanna be able to wear it with jeans, but also with the right skirt. The same goes for pants. Some days I wear flats. Other days, especially here in North Dakota, I need boots. Although I like having options, I don’t want to buy a whole new outfit every time the season change.

I checked on Quince and Everlane to see what I could wear from each brand. Both of them have pieces I like. However, I wanted to see how many of those pieces would work together and how much each wardrobe would cost.

In this Quince vs. Everlane comparison, I’m sharing my picks for a fall capsule wardrobe for 2026. Below, I’ll also go over the fabrics and care instructions for each piece.

Quince and Everlane:

What’s Different About Their Style?

When I look at Quince and Everlane, I can find clothes I like in both. Quince catches my attention with its simple sweaters, silk dresses, and linen shirts. However, when I look at Everlane, I notice the shape of the clothes more. Shirts are often boxy, and many of the pants have wider legs. Although some pieces look similar, I would put together a different outfit with each brand. So, I picked a few pieces from both to see how they would work in a capsule wardrobe.

My Quince Capsule Wardrobe Picks

For my Quince capsule wardrobe, I chose 10 pieces: three sweaters, including a cardigan, two tops, two pairs of pants, a skirt, a dress, and a coat. I kept the colors simple so I could wear them together in different ways. Below are my picks, along with the fabrics, prices, and care instructions.

My Everlane Capsule Wardrobe Picks

For my Everlane capsule wardrobe, I chose 10 pieces, just as I did with Quince. I included relaxed sweaters, a white button-down, jeans, and a few dressier options. The chocolate pleated skirt and belted coat caught my attention, so I added those too. Below are my picks, with the fabrics, prices, and care instructions for each.

Quince vs. Everlane: Fabrics and Care

The fabric is one of the first things I check when choosing clothes. In these Quince capsule wardrobe, you’ll find cashmere, cotton, silk, and stretch blends.

My Everlane picks include cotton, an alpaca blend, and recycled materials. Although some pieces look similar, they aren’t made from the same fabrics.

Silk Skirt from Quince is washable. However, you will need to follow the delicate instructions.

Some sweaters from Everlane require handwashing. Coats from both brands should be dry cleaning.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. You could wear a Quince sweater with Everlane jeans. Choose the pieces you like and colors that work together.

Are all these clothes machine washable?
No. Some need hand washing, and both coats need dry cleaning. Check each item’s care instructions before buying.
